The Hilton Garden Inn St Paul/Oakdale is conveniently located and reasonably priced. The hotel is older and could use some updating. The hotel could use some better cleaning/vacuming of hallway's etc.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Checked in no problems, elevator floor had large cracks throughout, hallway carpets dirty and stained. Room carpet stained, ottoman cracked and peeling. Suspected bed bugs, bites occurred in bed, comforter cover stained. Staff was very helpful in getting room changed and next room was cleaner.

We had a nice stay. Property is a little dated and can use some updates, but those deficiencies were made up for by an awesome staff who were very attentive on multiple occasions!! Great customer service can make up for a lot!

Room was clean, everything was good. I only wish they would upgrade the toilet in the rooms. They are the old fashion ones, close to the ground I found it difficult to get up from this low toilet.

I liked the friendliness and smiles of the staff. They appeared to be genuine. Our suite was very spacious and met our needs. The exercise equipment was good and maintained.
The free coffee and fresh fruit were good.
Only negative was our room was not ready until 4:00 pm.
