40th Birthday Weekend
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a surprise stay to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. The view of the lake was breathtaking. The house was open, nicely maintained, and inviting. The private chef was wonderful. The hot tub was lovely. It was a delightful way to create a lasting experience that commemorates a milestone for someone so loved.

Great Family Getaway
Publié le 10 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a great family Labor Day getaway weekend! The house was a great setup for a variety of teens and young adults. The kitchen and dining room were great. The lake wasn't too busy. The lakeside firepit was awesome. The gang really enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub, especially at night. Would happily stay here again.

We were a group of 9 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. The host was quick to respond when we had questions. It was a great location on the lake. We would definitely return!

Beautiful Property

The large living room provided lots of space for the kids to play and the dining room had more than enough space for everyone to gather around (6 adults + 3 kids). We loved the outdoor space as well for playing yard games and bonfires. Also the hot tub was a great bonus - the sunset views were amazing! Book it!

Large front & back yards made perfect croquet, frisbee and tag areas; living areas on the main floor were roomy, well-appointed and the wall of picture windows provided spectacular front row viewing to the hot tub, deck, lake and evening sunsets; the bunk room’s closet was large enough for a third (floor) bed, which allowed 3 of our 5 older grands to sleep together; all of the bed mattresses were super comfy and the high quality linens, pillows and comforters much appreciated; main floor full bath was roomy & convenient, a perfect place for the kids to bathe after a day in the sun and on the lake; the speed boat proved to be a real winner, worth the additional fee. It comfortable fit all 11 of us and the stern’s easy step off/on platform superior to typical boat ladders; the small kitchen was well-appointed, ample storage, efficiently designed and located well in sight of dining area. Finally, communication with the host was timely, thoughtful and helpful! We’ll return next summer, for sure!

Wonderful family home!

The large dining/living area and deck with hot tub were perfect for entertaining guests! The bedrooms are upstairs so the kids could go to bed while still having guests on the main level. Older home with so much charm that has been very nicely updated with all the modern amenities. Decorated very nicely! Feels like you are at a cabin way up north but are actually just minutes away from anything you need! Rebecca is very sweet & quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Our only regret is not staying long enough to enjoy the amazing boat & lake! Would love to come back soon!

Incredible Lake House

Our kids loved swimming in the lake, fishing, making smores at the fire pit, and warming up in the hot tub. My parents enjoyed the spacious living/great room with beautiful lake views. My wife and I got to relax because everyone had something of their liking (haha).
Rebecca was attentive and helpful in the check-in process and my questions along the way.
