We strive to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all our guests, and apologize if we fell short in this instance. Regarding the owner's personal items, we do allow homeowners to keep their belongings in the home but encourage them to securely store anything very personal/valuable. We apologize if the space felt cluttered with any of the owners belongings or decor! In regard to the water quality, this property does use well water, which we understand may not be to everyone's taste preference. We'll take your feedback into consideration and look into possible solutions for both of these issues. The house rules are in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests while also maintaining the integrity of the property. We are sorry if you felt they were not communicated clearly in the listing (all house rules are clearly posted at the bottom of the listing). We are unsure what additional "list of things you can't do" you may be referring to, but we will review the listing to make sure any guidelines are clearly explained to avoid future confusion. Additionally, with regard to pets, we do not require that pets be kenneled at all times while inside the home. We ask that guests kennel their pets if they plan to leave the home and the pet is being left behind, in order to prevent any damage from leaving the pet in an unfamiliar space.
