Unique hotel stay
We stayed at the Renaissance for a fun family weekend, and this was a nicely updated hotel with a fun atmosphere. It was pretty clean and the pool and hot tub were nice. Our only complaint would be that the hotel and especially the rooms were humid, to the extent that the bedding almost felt wet. I'm not sure what was causing this, but it did make it uncomfortable. The pillowtop beds were comfortable to sleep on though, and it was an overall good experience.

The hotel has been renovated making it quite pleasing to the eye in decor. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with somewhat dim lighting.The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the company hired to renovate has completed a tiling job surrounding the pool with terrible drainage. There are large puddles around the pool deep enough to drench your feet wearing sandles. This is longstanding water not moving so it has a gross element to it. These puddles obstruct your walking to patio chairs etc. Very unfortunate.

Loved my stay here, the staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was exactly as pictured on the website and was decorated beautifully. The bathroom was a little small but was clean and stocked with full size supplies. The TV in the room was a great size for the type of room we had and we were able to watch Netflix in the evenings! I also appreciated how comfortable the beds were, the pillows were great! The only thing that I thought was a little strange was that the hotel room door does not seal at the bottom. There's an open gap underneath so you can see people's feet as the walk down the hall and it lets in a lot of noise. Good thing was that we had quiet neighbors! But I could see this being an issue if I was on a floor that was loud. Overall, would stay here again!
