Amazing Location, Amazing Time

The view and access to the beach is amazing, the elevator was very helpful to those who needed it, and our experience was pretty close to perfect. Communication with host was prompt, thorough, caring, and helpful. Will definitely be returning!

The pool is just across the street if you could walk straight across however it is a half block that you have to walk around to get to it. The place is nice. The host was great Quick response. Parking is tight if you have large vehicles

Great Beach House!
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I had a great week at this house! The house was beautiful and having a private section of the beach kept the area from being overcrowded. Julie was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the trip.
The only couple of downsides we had was the front of the house is on the street, there was the occasional loud golf cart/car. That's to be expected with the time of year though, so it wasn't a major issue. I also wish the kitchen would have been a little more stocked with more trash bags/dishwasher pods/kitchen seasonings since we were there for so many days - but there are so many grocery stores nearby when you need something.
I would recommend this house to anyone who has a large family that needs space and wants to be right on the water!

Beach beauty and convenience!

The new nursing mommy and great grandma could both easily enjoy the beauty of the beach without feeling left out. The elevator was a welcome savior. The home is well built and maintained and Julie is the best!

Great family vacation home

Wonderful Beach

Cons: the front of the house faces a very busy street and the doors don’t fully close on the balconies, there’s a huge gap, so the amount of noise inside the house is similar to having all the windows open. Very loud constant cars driving all night.
The bunk bed room is actually the garage with no bathroom or a closet. To get to the only accessible bathroom downstairs, you have to go into the other bedroom.
The other downstairs bedroom through which you go to the beach shouldn’t be a bedroom. It’s a walkway filled with sand and people constantly walking through your room. It’s more suited for a game room or another living room.
The house was filled with cockroaches and I was told to deal with the exterminator when they only sprayed half of the house after we complained.
The living room and kitchen are extremely small. The dining room table is really only accessible to 6 people, same for the couch.
The kitchen is not even close to being fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Most of the closets are not meant for people to stay there for a week, just a weekend.

I am surprised to hear this feedback. The doors most certainly do fully close. During your stay, you contacted me b/c you found a roach. We contacted our pest control immediately (who regularly treats the property) and he promptly came out. When he arrived, the gentleman who opened the door did not even understand why pest control had been called. The pest control technician said the gentleman then left him and went to the third floor closing the bedroom door. The technician found one roach which he said was an outdoor roach. He could only treat the first 2 floors because the 2 bedrooms on the third floor had people sleeping in one and the other the gentleman had closed the door. The tech texted me a picture of the 1st floor balcony door you all left open about 4 inches which unfortunately will let insects in, especially when it is so hot. I am sorry if the technician trying to explain to you that the door being open was causing your issue upset you. We have not had any other complaints like this. Especially to note, the guests the week before and the week after did not have any issues like this. Re: the kitchen, you never contacted me to ask for any "necessary supplies" which I would have brought. The kitchen is actually very well stocked as many guests have appreciated. For dining options, there is the dining table, the bar stools at the kitchen bar, as well as an outdoor dining area. Wish you all the best.
