A bird watching weekend in paradise 26/7/24-28/7/24
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis beautifully appointed cottage, next to Barry the owners home, has everything and more, than you could ever need. The view from the cottage is over rural farm land and out to the Shorebird Coast, Firth of Thames and the Coromandel ranges beyond. The moment I arrived from central Auckland I felt myself start to relax. Barry was very friendly and helpful. A definite bonus for me was his late mother's NIV Bible, which I found in my bedside draw the evening I arrived. The cottage is fully accessible for wheelchair users. We were able to heat it easily with the heaters provided. We feel in love with the place and will definitely be back again. Thanks Barry for making our 21st Wedding Anniversary awesome.

Peaceful Time Out
Publié le 10 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was wonderful to get away from the busyness of Auckland life and spend a weekend in a peaceful and serene environment. Beautiful outlook looking over the Thames Firth, water and farmland. Barry was super helpful and there's even the added bonus of fruit trees!
Loved every moment and will be back.

This is a wonderful property with a lovely host. The place was clean, very comfortable and well appointed. You can see the care and consideration in the details. I'm so grateful we were able to enjoy the breathtaking views and relax after our long flight. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
