Simple, comfortable hotel in an Anglican monastery
Publié le 1 févr. 2015 sur HotelsSimple but comfortable hotel in an Anglican monastery. Pleasant room and shower. Free tea, coffee and biscuits. Good wifi. Reasonable breakfast; no fried food, but boiled egg available. Opportunity to wander the grounds and visit the church.

I stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting a relative in the area. I was warmly welcomed on arrival and building codes were explained. Considering the age of the building the facilities were excellent. It felt safe and secure and I would happily return.

Great place to stay
Publié le 13 avr. 2024 sur Hotelswe were in Mirfield for a party, my mum and dads apartment only had room for my wife and I so my too adult child stayed at the Monastery. It is literally a 2 minutes drive from the centre of Mirfield. The staff were very helpful, the rooms are basic but clean and tidy. My boys didn’t use the breakfast facilities but the looked very good. and check in and out was a doddle.
we will definitely stay again😁

Non supportive host
Publié le 4 janv. 2024 sur HotelsThe host was extremely unfriendly and made faces whils showing the room. Very non cordial and non helpful host. I kept ringing the bell but was attended after 40 minutes. Extremely poor service

Unfortunately you arrived outside of our listed arrival times and therefore our reception was closed and our out of hours team were in church. We do feature arrival times on our listing to try and prevent such situations but will look to make the information more readily accessible going forward. The outstanding feature of the B&B was the peace, I slept really well. The breakfast was simple but good, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and I will definitely go there again.
