Perfect short stay

Horrible experience

It was already a stressful trip and while we were watching tv we started hearing a very quiet beeping. It turned out to a smoke detector in the room, (neither of us are smokers). We get a call from the front desk and informed the employee that there was no fire. We were asked if we smoked and of course we don’t. Apparently we must’ve looked a certain way at check it because the desk clerk sent security up to our room and of course he found nothing that would’ve set off the alarm. We were so uncomfortable from the treatment that we left early in the morning after an uncomfortable night without eating the included breakfast. Now I don’t know if it was our tattoos (my husband was a tattoo artist) or what but we definitely felt like we weren’t their “desired” type of guest. This hotel was recommended by a local friend as the other hotels were not as safe and frequented by drug addicts so we paid the more expensive rate which we normally wouldn’t have for such a short stay. I will never stay there or at one of its affiliated hotels again.
