Love This Place!!
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this property. We love it! It is a central hub for the area we are hiking. There are trails to be found all around! The property itself is perfect for two people. (i’m sure it’s perfect for more than two people as well.) The kitchen is well provided. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee and coffee maker, toaster… you name it, it’s there! There are plenty of towels for showers. You can do a load of laundry after a wet day of hiking and be in the shower at the same time without danger of the hot water running out! This is a big plus! The television is a Smart TV and we were able to connect to our favorite streaming service and watch a show as our evening wound down. There is even a great restaurant just across the yard. We needed reservations, but calling a few weeks in advance got us in fine. The back deck is excellent! It looks out over a lovely expanse of grass and a huge tree that was in full color. Bette responded to our inquiries within minutes. She never left us hanging! I wish I could gate keep this property, but it would be unfair. I cannot wait until our plans allow us to return again!

Great All-around Place to Stay
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay very much! The place was clean and neat and updated. We had everything we needed. The Trail House had a nice deck that wrapped around the back and we spent much of our time there. It was private and perfect. Mohawk was centrally located to the Keeweenaw and we were able to easily see most of the Keeweenaw without driving too far..

Cozy and comfortable
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location was very convenient. Right in the middle of all the places we visited so the drive time wasn't that long. The house was very cozy! It was already stocked with normal household items you would need like towels for the bathroom, laundry detergent for the washroom, silverware and plates etc.....The Slim's restaurant right across the street had amazing breakfast food. All in all it was a great vacation. Thanks again!
