Had a poor experience at hotel. Staff, the unfriendliness people we met in Ireland. Noticed they were much more friendly to other guests. Called the hotel to see if we could order food to pick up from restaurant as we were checking in late right when restaurant was closing. They never bothered to return our call. They were still serving food when we checked in but would not serve us. They served a tour bus that arrived later (with pre prepared food). When asked where we could get carry out near by they were completely unhelpful. Small town you’d think they could make recommendations. Not for us. When I asked if the Indian place was any good they made it clear they did not like that kind of food. Did not provide directions. Manager on duty was mean, put off and unhelpful. The sink in room would not drain and was accordingly dirty. Room small. Breakfast included was very average. Not worth the price, bad value. Would never recommend this place.

Our restaurant follows a strict schedule to ensure the quality and freshness of our dishes, and the tour bus you mentioned had pre-booked their meal well in advance. We understand your frustration and will work to ensure that arriving guests are provided with suggestions of alternative options.Recommendations and Personal Preferences: Our team members aim to provide helpful recommendations based on their personal experiences and knowledge. It is not fair to interpret someone's personal preference for food flavours as discriminatory. Our staff may sometimes refrain from recommending a place if they personally do not enjoy the food there, to ensure that we provide authentic and sincere suggestions.Local Dining Options: Unfortunately, during your stay, there were limited dining options available in the local area, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays. Many establishments would have ceased taking orders by the time of your arrival. Room and Amenities: We are sorry to learn about the issues you faced with the sink and the room size. Your feedback regarding the cleanliness and functionality of the room is taken very seriously, and we will address these concerns with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure such issues are rectified promptly. However, it should be noted that if your dissatisfaction is not brought to our attention as and when it arises, it unfortunately leaves the team with little to no opportunity to rectify the issues.Customer Service: The demeanour of our staff, especially the manager on duty, should always be professional and courteous. We apologise if this was not the case during your stay and will be conducting additional training to ensure all our team members are consistently friendly and helpful.Value and Quality: We are continually striving to improve the value and quality of our offerings, including our breakfast options. Your comments will be reviewed to help us enhance our guest experience. Mini break

Great hotel, location ideal for travelling from any direction. Room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with tea/coffee. We ate in the hotel both nights and food was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and enough variety to cater for most tastes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool was great size.

Excellent facilities, bar and food options . Rooms are spotless and well appointed. The staff are friendly and efficient . Loved it !
