Room was not ready at our check in time. Looks like there were homeless people hanging out in the parking lot and around the building. Did not feel like it was a safe environment to stay at. Requested to cancel our reservation.

The room had a smoke/musk smell. The toilet backed up, the blanket was dirty, not washed.

The Fairgrounds Inn was a nice overall experience. Helpful staff and clean room. Our one complaint is bed we had was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.
