Avis The Twin Lakes House - Lake view

This property has a lot of potential. This beautiful 1900s era home is unfortunately not being renovated with any craftsmanship or intent to preserve the nature of the era Do it was built. The furnishings and appliances are all substandard and the kitchen was not very well equipped. The hot water heater had difficulty maintaining the temperature of the needs for seven bedrooms. Despite this, our family enjoyed having a space where we could all be together.

This is an older large bungalow that needs some tender loving care. On the good side the view from the porch was very nice overlooking the lake. A very nice community. You can also see that the owner is trying to do some updates to the home. such as the larger porch and new air condition units installed in the house.The house was very large and there was plenty of space for everyone. It appears that the bathrooms are updated and there are four full baths one has a bathtub the others all have showers. For the bad the kitchen was filthy, freezer had frost,gunk in side of fridge that I cleaned, water was brown had to drink bottle water, wasp all around the house, dinning room table was wobbly, table on sun porch if you leaned on one side the top would go up, Outlet cover missing in kitchen, light flickering in kitchen, A village building violation posted on door, the grills were dirty and missing parts, Owner wanted me to use superhog which I would not use since it had over 56% 1 star ratings, In the dinning room there was a gouge of wood missing, in an upstair bed room by closet a large what appears to be burn on the floor the property needs landscaping . It would be nice if you could actually walk down to the lake. no instructions on how to use HVAC units or tv or anything. Wifi worked but the password we were given was wrong I had to find on bottom of modem, The sight did not mention one bedroom has two bunk beds hopefully this helps owner and renter

Very good for family and friends celebrating or reunions. We all have a good time.

Great location but was surprised with no access to lake from property and some maintenance issues with plumbing and general cleaning. Master bath shower did not work, grill not operational, general cleaning in back porch, kitchen, bathrooms were less than desirable. But great location and very cool house for a large group. We shared with property owner and anticipate they will address all.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Our party was 9 adults and we had plenty of space. Coffee on the porch overlooking the lake was something we all looked forward to each morning. There are nice restaurants and a market conveniently close by. The only negative is one upstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet but no sink.
