I will not recommend this resort to anyone. The manager… I believe they said his name was SHAWN MOSES… probably the most unprofessional manager I ever met. There are so many issues with the hotel. But, the fact that the manager refused to meet us upon checking in to discuss an issue with the rooms we booked was a the start of it all. The rooms were poorly lit and clustered ..newly renovated meant freshly painted on the outside. Bathroom shower door can’t closed properly… so, water kept flowing onto the floor whenever we took a shower. The circuit breaker tripped every time my wife used the hair dry (the same one they provided). The air conditioning unit stopped working at one point. The Diamond Club (which we were) restaurants ran out of certain items on the menu (mind you they opened for dinner at 6 and we had 7:30 reservations). Now this was the one that took the cake! The Friday before we left.. my wife went to shower… guess what.. NO HOT WATER! The front desk didn’t even know until I called (at least that’s what the said). That was at 7 am. We were told it should be resolved by 5 pm. I saw Mr. Shawn Moses around 5pm in the lobby. He was telling another guest that it was an island wide issue with the hot water. I asked him about what he was telling the guest (lies).. that it seems to be a property issue.. not an island issue. His reply was that he wasn’t an engineer … he don’t know. I had already checked with the RIU next door. They had no issue with hot water. DON’T GO!
