Beautiful resort with so many amenities. Great food and great service. Beautiful beaches and multiple pools. This is my 3rd time and its better every time. Hotels.com stepped up with an oceanview upgrade, champagne and fruit basket on arrival. It was just so wonderful

This was my second experience at Secrets. The last time was eight years ago. I will not lie; nothing has changed since 8 years ago. The property is excellent, and the staff are helpful, which are all good points. The areas of improvement are that the in-room food was horrible and tested like frozen food and the wait time to receive in-room service was about 120 minutes. Once we were finished with food, we were told to put the plates in a secret box that had access to the outside so that housekeeping could pick them up, and the plates sat in the box for two days. We did have to ask for a robe multiple times and received our robes the next day. Also, the buffet closes at 3:00 p.m.

I had a good time. The tub in the room was dirty once you turned on the jets. The a/c in rooms and restaurants aren’t strong so you are sweating the whole time. Food is good but nothing 5 star. The pool seemed a little dirty. If you aren’t by the pool at 7am you won’t get a chair. The property in general needs maintenance. Entrainment isn’t there and the schedule of activities barely exists. The staff is also unaware of any of the activities going on. To get to the restaurants it’s a bit of a walk. No nightlife outside of a club that is burning hot with no DJ. Aside from ALL of that, the staff is great. I would consider staying here again as a couple rather than a group of friends but only if I see they’ve done renovations on the property.

This was definitely one of the best resort I’ve stayed…the staff are really amazing though out the entire stay..the food was to die for and the entertainment…it’s just too much to quote…I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone
