Our stay was very disappoiting. Good location but very old fashioned with worn-out furniture. Not a single smile from the 2 people being in charge at the hotel. The cook was also the carpenter, painter etc. and wore dirty clothes while making our breakfast. Most importantly - we never recevied our USD100 deposit back despite being promised so. They do not take the telephone anymore. Overall - not recommendable.

Thanks for making it Watersedge, its disappointing that none of these complaints were voiced whilst you were on property. You spoke in depth about your back issues, and wondered if the bed would be adequate for you to sleep in, the next morning you voiced that the bed was perfect. The person that prepared the breakfast was not the one who served your meal. As we use two staff to assist with breakfast When booking a room at our property we state online that the security deposit and taxes must be paid in taxes. You wanted to do all the transaction with your card you were also told and given a receipt where your security deposit was released back to your card. You were also given a contact card for use if you had any problems getting your money back. You reached out to us about your deposit not been reflected in your account we reach out to our bank and they advised us what to have you do on your end as we already had done what was necessary from our side, we sent you in email the information or advised to use at your bank. You also arrived a day early for your reservation as you made a mistake with the date of check in and you were accommodated none the less. You were spoken to on several occasion about smoking in the house even smoking Infront of a non smoking sign when we have an area specifically designated for smoking

Basic Motel with a water front

The pictures online are deceiving. This is basically a motel with a waterfront. No places to eat or drink anything in walkable distance.

The property was located on the water so it provided serenity and beauty. A great option for lodging without the hustle and bustle of a lot of foot traffic. Owner was very nice and the staff was very helpful. I am looking forward to staying there again.

Needs fixing up

Hotel did not seem fully ready yet for guests. The shower in my room did not work. Things seemed like they were still doing work to fix the place up. The location is fairly remote, from Montego Bay.

The peace of mind and tranquility, the airiness of the bedroom, high ceilings and majestic windows, courteousness of the staff.this will be my vacation stay whenever I return to jamaica.i already told some of my coworkers about water's edge and showed them pictures.Excellent guest house
