We were in “The Blue Room”. There is only air conditioning in the bedroom. For warmer days this makes using the other rooms (sitting area, bathroom, shower) unbearable. The shower didn’t have a spot to set your soap, shampoo, etc.
Other than that, it was perfect. We loved the historic building and the staff who assisted us, Valentina and Yvonna (sp?) were incredibly nice and helpful. Great location for visiting all the fun things to do and see in Montepulciano.

Great potential
Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HotelsThe bigger pricier rooms are lovely. However, the small room across from reception is dreadful. You have to go up a flight of 7 brick stairs to get to the bath, which is a woefully inadequate shower. The hair dryer is affixed to the wall where there’s no mirror. The staff is lovely, but part of the time no one seems to be about.

A wonderful boutique hotel

Valentina welcomed us warmly and made us a reservation at an incredible local restaurant. Our room (suite) felt like stepping back in time, furnished with antiques and full of charm. Very clean and comfortable. We were served a delicious breakfast with all kinds of yummy choices and heavenly coffee.
