Avis Cozy apartment for 4/5 pax in a cottage in Chianti,Wifi,Swimmingpool,Catering

Tuscany really is as lovely as we dreamed. We found the property communication to be excellent and registration very informative. The recommendations for sights and restaurants were absolutely spot on. We were two couples and the space does work well for two couples. One bedroom had an ensuite and the second bedroom had a bathroom adjacent. The kitchen is small but functional for 2. We would suggest that the property description be updated as it is a little misleading. The kitchen supplies are quite rudimentary if you're actually trying to cook. The oven is a microwave oven, not a proper oven and the outdoor grill is for another unit and seemed to be charcoal so even if we had access there would have been no way to use it. The listing states washing machine but there isn't one. There is a laundry service at an additional fee and wood for the fireplace at an additional fee. The pool was shut for the season and we did not find any games to play in the unit. The listing states optional breakfast and optional catering. Presumably these are at additional fees as well. There are lots of restaurants to explore. The large eating table is outside which is good for nice weather however the shared space area is for all the units so just be aware that the area is shared. The living room furniture is warn and although everything was adequate, we felt that for the costs, it was not quite up to our expectations. As long as your expectations are realistic, you will enjoy the property.

Owner was very helpful in recommending and arranging dinner reservations. Also gave good suggestions for places to visit in the area. A nice small town of Montespertoli just 7 min by car to get groceries or a coffee or a few small restaurants. The best dinners out were suggested by the owner usually ten minutes by car. The property is very well maintained and lovely to spend time in. Our family would stay there again. Only issue was the internet was broken but owner gave us a discount which was nice but would have been better to have internet working!

We would definitely recommend it to friends who want to take day trips to popular tourist towns but have peace and quiet at night . The cottage was wonderful but it’s good to know it was attached to another families rental .
