Bel hôtel ,bien situé avec de belles installations mais sous exploité avec à aucune ambiance; personnel qui va avec le tout: froid

Pour : Hotel dans la forêt en ville
Contre : Un bon ménage luminaire plein de mouche morte.....
Propreté de la chambre pourrait être amélioré tapis et état de la douche porte qui ne tienne pas en place retrouver 2 grosses araignées dans la baignoire et un scorpion derrière la poubelle je comprend qu'on est en forêt et qu'il y a ce genre de bestiole par contre il pourrait installer un couple froid en dessous de la porte entré qui peut laissé entre de grosse bestiole .

In town jungle lodge
Publié le 29 juin 2024 sur HotelsWe loved the lodge but there was no initial information about the lack of a restaurant on the property. They referred us to the lodge on the adjoining property and it was okay, but quite a ways up the hill (walking, dark at night). Although the lodge is "in town", it was quiet and easy to get to. Looking out from our porch, it did feel and look like we were in the jungle.

The property itself was beautiful and the service was awesome. The rooms themselves are quite humid so all of the bedding was damp. Also we shared a building with another room and the walls are extremely thin. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing at all hours of the day. Also, if one room runs hot water, it limits the hot water in the other room (cold night time showers). The restaurant is also not on the grounds, it is at the hotel at the top of the property which for the hike, the food was ok. The grounds themselves are pretty and have their own hiking trail but overall experience this was not fully as advertised.

We loved this hotel! I was apprehensive after reading a few of the reviews, but after staying here, I couldn’t be happier to report this is the place to stay! Quaint rustic cabins, tucked in the jungle with monkeys, coati, agouti & motmots right outside your door. If you’re planning a stay in Monteverde, you won’t be disappointed with Jaguarundi!

Amazing place
Publié le 5 mai 2024 sur HotelsAmazing place right near the centre of Santa elena but also out the way. Bit annoying that breakfast was a 5 minute walk up hill. Saw agouti from our room. Suspension bridge is fun. Staff very friendly

Beautiful stay!

Felt like living in the jungle. Absolutely brilliant and soothing. The room was quiet spacious however the bathroom was a bit small. Overall an amazing stay!
