bon acceuil sympathique

hotel bien situé au centre pres des rues commerçantes mais bruyant la nuit...bon accueil sympathique , petit déjeuner copieux, chambres propres

The hotel needs a renovation in everything. Rooms, bathrooms , sheets, blankeds . The staff was really Nice, and the breakfeast was amazing.

Extremely Disappointing

We were disappointed as soon as we arrived at Hotel Europa, walking from the taxi through marijuana smoke to the front door, which was already locked at 7.30pm. On reaching our room we decided to move to another hotel due to the overall musty smell, basic cleanliness & facilities - these fell far short of the description of the room on Hotels.com. We advised the receptionist of our decision to leave & she was most annoyed. We told her that we understood the hotel's cancellation policy "that any change after 11.59pm the previous day would incur the first night's charge plus fees & taxes". We asked that she cancel the remaining three nights of our four night stay, & refund us the difference, but she refused. I contacted Hotels.com via chat, however, they were apparently unable to contact the hotel's management & obtain a refund for the remaining three nights. Hotels.com subsequently informed us that there would be no refund. I replied to the Hotels.com email outlining that our refund request was in line with Hotel Europa's own cancellation policy & requesting a review of our case - I'm still awaiting a response 3 days later. MOST DISAPPOINTED WITH BOTH HOTEL EUROPA & HOTELS.COM - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL ROUND!!👎☹️

Hello, given the incoherence of your comment, it would be easy not to respond, but we will. The policy on hotel comments is based on the service we provide, and you did not give us the opportunity to do so. Before check-in you were already predisposed not to stay, the unusual thing is because you smelled marijuana in a country where it is legal to smoke marijuana. It's really incoherent. The hotel, as I think you will realize, cannot prohibit smoking by the citizens of its country. The Europa hotel has a policy of being smoke-free, tobacco-free, and marijuana-free. The other unusual thing is to claim a refund when you purchased a non-refundable rate, that is why the hotel and hotels.com did not give you the response you expected, because it is not appropriate to refund your money, when purchasing the non-refundable rate it is not possible to cancel, modify or return any night. Criticizing a hotel without knowing its service is really unusual.

Muito boa, atendimento perfeito das atendentes. Sugestão: melhorar o chuveiro do banheiro apto 605, consertar o dispensador de sabão do box, colocar uma proteção para evitar que molhe o piso do banheiro
