This property was not a typical IHG property. It was run down with 1980 furniture. My shower did not have a proper drainage. No coffee maker was in my room. I went down to get coffee at 7AM and they were out of coffee. The entryway to my room apparently had a flood at some point. I have no idea how this room was given 9.4 stars. I took pictures and have no way to upload them. The location was not good. I was nervous walking by myself to dinner. I do not recommend this hotel. The employees were not friendly.

I’ve stayed at this property three times while traveling for work. For the first two stays the rooms were very clean and fresh, but the most recent stay was in a more run down room (broken shower drain, peeling and molded ceiling in the bathroom). They seem to be doing work on the lobby at the moment, so they’ve closed off half of the space and made the breakfast much more simple. The amenities are clean and up to date and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would stay here again with hopes that I’d be in one of the better kept rooms that I experienced during my initial stays and a broader selection of breakfast items.
