If you have standards, stay elsewhere

I checked in late at about 11pm. I immediately smelled a musty odor when I went in the room, but I figured it was the air conditioner as I had just turned it on. After getting situated, I realized the smell was lingering and was the overall smell of the room. Honestly, I should have complained then, but I was tired and had to wake at 5 am, so I figured I would just talk to the front desk person in the morning, which I did. I informed the worker that I wouldn’t be able to handle it until later in the afternoon. He said he would inform the manager. That did not happen. When I tried to handle it, the manager said they could spray air freshener, which was totally unacceptable to me. The room smell had begun to permeate the clothes left behind while I took care of the business I was in town for. The manager said that they didn’t have any other rooms except the “suite”, which was just a regular room with a jacuzzi. She offered the room for an extra $100 dollars. I asked for a discount. She said that was with the discount. I later looked at the cost for that room and found that that wasn’t truthful. They should have given me the room at the normal rate. I was exhausted already from the poor sleep in the moldy room and the long day of business I had so I decided to just pay the $100 and move on. She let me smell the room before I did this, but after I looked closer, it was obvious that the room wasn’t very clean. The toilet had a ring of mold. Also, I was charged 2x.

we cannot do more discount if you book with third party. you already agreed to pay price different before you move to suites room. and you already know double charged is already refunded.

The door to our room, when locked, had a gap all the way around it. We had to stuff plastic bags in it to block the light and heat. There also was no water pressure.

I apologize you did not have water as hot as you would have liked. We did not receive any other concerns for other person during the stay. I do wish you would have addressed the water issue and gap around locked while your stay. We would have done what was necessary to accommodate your needs. In the future, please let us know your needs during your stay. so that we can make your stay pleasant.

I had 4 rooms reserved for a game in college station and when we check in the first key he gave me didn't work, so I walked down stairs because there is no elevator! Then the second key opened the door but it someone was in the room!!! Then I go downstairs again and he moves me to another room, I open the door and it is soooo sticky and humid inside that the sheets were wet feeling!!! I was done and tired so I slept there anyways! Shipley donuts in the morning was the best part.

Front desk staff was very rude ! Room was nice pool was clean although you are not allowed to take anything to drink. Overall our stay was good

Only 1 pillow i like 2 pillow. Noone in office at checkout time

We don’t find in our record that you stay at this property. We do have sign in office 11 o’clock is checked out and we have more then 2 pillows in each rooms.

Property was aged and very musty. Remote to tv did not work. Had to go to office to get new batteries. Bathtub enamel was worn off in a couple different places. Just needs overall update.
