Nice 2 day getaway
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for a couple nights during the week in August. Everything was great. We had a fun time using the Kayaks and sitting down by the dock. It’s a small lake but was perfect for the kids to Kayak. The he house was clean and the neighbor we met was very nice. Perfect for a mid week getaway for my wife and kids and another couple and their daughter.

Family Reunion Stay
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had our kids and grandkids all here for a family reunion and LOVED our stay! It is so tranquil and there is so much space in the home and on the property that you can really relax while looking out over the beautiful lake. We definitely plan to come back!

So much fun!

The TV did not work in the bedroom with the bunk beds but we were outside most of the time anyway so it wasn't a big deal. The coffee maker that was out did not work correctly (I think maybe it needs to be descaled) as the water/ coffee came out in all directions when trying to use the kcup option so we just used the old coffee pot in the cupboard which worked fine. Lastly, there is a pole underwater in the swimming area to the left of the raft/ dock. Luckily, my husband noticed this before the kids jumped in and was able to direct them around it but had he not noticed it, it could have caused some serious injuries had one of the kids jumped on it.
Other than the above, we had a great weekend and loved the house! It was so convenient to have the store within walking distance. The washer and dryer is also a great amenity. The furnished sheets and towels also made things really convenient as well.

The Swing House
Publié le 8 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is our 4th stay! We love the indoor amenities this house offers just in case it rains. The fire pit is beautifully placed on the lake for sunsets! Kayaking in the morning and evening is amazing (the lake is so calm).

Inaccurate advertisement
Publié le 8 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was falsely advertised as lake access When actually, you are crossing other people's property to get to the lake. The grill did not work properly. 3 toilet seats were loose, causing my handicap husband to fall in one of them. The contract stated that hey supplied toilet paper, dish soap laundry soap. We contacted the owner and requested to have more brought. But after 2 days we decided we would purchase it ourselves and not have to make another 20 mile trip to the store. After which they did bring it. One neighbor said they're selling there lake cottage because of the issues with this renter. I am not requesting any type of refund. We did make the best of it. I just thought any future renters should know this.

First off we do have Lake Frontage we purchased another property last year to give us frontage. You did ask us if you could have a couple extra people and one of our neighbors told us they counted 21 people in the yard at one time, we only allow 10 guests. We do provide toilet paper , dish soap and laundry soap just not for 20 people. We did get you extra everything when you asked after the first day. Lastly not sure who you talked to but we are not selling the property anytime soon. Thank you for your review we will make sure the toilet seats are tightened.

Family Getaway
Publié le 31 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of space for 8 of us. The pool table was very popular with everyone. We also enjoyed the other games. The only concern we had was what outside grass area we could use. A map showing the section of yard between the house and lake that guests could use would be great. There was a newly built fire pit with half wall and seating in front of the dock for #144 that we enjoyed. The dock was very stable and made it easy to access our rented pontoon. Overall I would highly recommend this rental house for other families.
