Hotel was awsome .Girls week to re connect after 30 years of not seeing each other we had 2 bedrooms which was great.it was close to everything lots of restaurants near by.Easy check in and out felt really safe.Staff was helpful and very friendly. So i would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed having the kitchen and the full sized fridge. It was very quiet and the neighbourhood had lots of restaurants art galleries cafes and food shops. We walked to the Basilica and all our restaurant reservations. Great location and all the amenities we needed.

I feel badly not giving Sonder a higher rating because what we didn't like is somewhat out of their control. The apartment was set up a bit oddly, but it had all of the amenities we could have wanted. What we couldn't stand was the noise. Sonder recognizes there is a noise problem and provides ear plugs as well as a white noise machine but for us it wasn't enough. Our flight arrived late and we ended up getting to the room about 1:30 a.m. Check in was a breeze and everything was looking good, until 7 a.m. when the concrete saw started. Apparently they are doing some renovations to the restaurant in the building and for two weeks we were treated to the sounds of construction. Our view was of the building next door, and it was so close we could read what they were typing on their computers. Sonder renovated an old brick building right in the middle of Old Montreal and have done their best to make it nice but without serious sound proofing we will not be back. Even once the construction is finished (and is it ever really finished) the street noise is more than we are willing to endure.

The property is unique, clean, and beautiful; it is a repurposed government building that has been modernized with sophisticated living arrangements. It is strategically placed within walking distance of so many experiences, food, and landmarks such as the basilique notre dame, vieux port, réso, et la place des spectacles. Our unit was large and spacious with exposed brick walls and at least 12 ft ceilings. I would gladly return for another stay and would highly recommend for my friends and family.

Perfect place to stay near everything in Old Montreal. The gym/sauna/steam room were a highlight that we really enjoyed. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable and the check in experience was seamless. Will definitely be back.
