Lovely walking which was much needed to accommodate the first class restaurant which by itself justifies special mention

Underwhelming on so many levels

Not all bad but the accumulation of things that didnt work, were broken, went wrong including the food, general service delivery and communication, overshadowed the good. List too long and varied to mention. We did address some issues with management - a few times - but this didnt change their behaviour over our 4 night stay so we eventually gave up. The issues not only impacted our stay, but also caused us significant stress and frustration. Disappointing as was suppose to be a Christmas treat for my 91 year old mother. This was our 12th hotel stay in 3 months in hotels ranging from 3 to 5 star luxury in various parts of the world - not once in any of these previous hotels did we have cause to complain to management.

Idyllic

It boasts gorgeous accommodation on a beautiful property with fairy tale-like gardens, hundreds of contented horses, a multitude of walks (both tranquil and energetic) and the sparkling deck-chair lined pool. The staff are friendly and attentive and the meals delicious. One can have a relaxed outdoor lunch or an elegant multi-course wine pairing meal. Every suite/ room and every stay is wonderful.
