Legends resort completely dissapointing

No reception. Gardens and grass sky high. Shower floads, does not drain. Bathroom towel rail broken, No golf course, no club house, no restaurant. No electricity. Place is falling apart. Only positive was the lady that moved us from one falling apart unit to the next.

Dear Guest, thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We do not offer a reception. You are directed to your room and we welcome you at your room. The bathroom issues has been checked and fixed after your review, thank you so much. The golf course is closed indefinitely and may open at any time however we do not know when. This we believe should be made attention to the resort, as well as the grass, seeing as we are simply private accommodation inside a large resort. We will however bring up the landscaping issues up with the resort. Electricity is unfortunately out of our hands, it does not go off often. We will do a thorough inspection of the unit you stayed in and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please afford us the opportunity to issue you with a complimentary voucher for future use. Professional Service from Staff

I was not informed in advance of the renovations taking place at Legends but the staff, Sisa and Owen at Sea Star made our stay very special, comfortable and convenient, we didn't feel the effects of the reconstruction taking place at all. I am super satisfied.

It’s a pity the place has fallen on hard times and there is a massive difference between our stay there in the beginning of November and now. The golf course is expensive and is in a shocking condition and hasn’t been mowed in months, plus there are no golf carts because the company lending out the carts wasn’t paid. The greens keeper came to personally apologize on his own accord for the state of the golf course, indicating that he was not proud of the course and I don’t be him, since there was an utter decline in the course since last I played there. The apology was noted but was little consolation considering that we were charged the usual green fees

Dear Shaun It truly saddens me to read your review. Golf is the main activity of this resort and it should be a priority. I will relay your complaint to the resort management. I hope that when you visit again the resort and the greens will be in top condition again.

Waste of our money and time

Firstly the resort misrepresented itself when we booked online. We arrived there around 5:30pm, the rooms were dirty (they only rushed to clean them when we got there), secondly the kids room had no hot water through out the stay, thirdly all the nice activities stipulated on the list were not available( e.g quard biking not available, horse riding not available,Segway not available, kiddies pool out of service, second pool extremely dirty throughout the stay, third pool surroundings extremely filthy (pool chairs dirty with vomit, dirty glass and bottle all around, only one restaurant working (even too expensive). In short our stay extremely disastrous that we even checked out a day before.

Binnenkomst oogt spectaculair, maar het blijkt een verlaten complex op een golfresort van vergane glorie. Het is zo groot dat je je met de auto of een pendelbus moet verplaatsen. De kamers waren op zich netjes en compleet ingericht, maar niet goed schoongemaakt. Het zwembad ziet eruit alsof er al drie jaar niemand meer in gezwommen heeft. Een gemiddelde vijver ziet er aantrekkelijker uit. De restaurants bieden geen lunchkaart, alleen maar pizza's en Indiaas. Tijdens het avondeten blijken delen van de kaart niet leverbaar, is de bediening laks en ongeïnteresseerd en moet je ook nog in verschillende delen betalen, omdat het ene restaurant de drankjes schenkt en de andere het eten. Dan kun je vervolgens niet met creditcard betalen. Al met al een waardeloze bestemming, niet voor niets zag het er verloren en verlaten uit. Het ligt ook nergens in de buurt, dus je bent veroordeeld tot het resort.
