Best place to stay in Sri Lanka
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HotelsBest stay in Sri Lanka! Beautifully decorated nice hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly and foods and drinks are very good. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was absolutely stunning. We had a view on the sea which was lovely.

This is the 3rd time that I am returning to Halcyon. It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great. What more to say, it's a little peace of heaven :)

All staff were incredible, rooms spectacular, food was amazing, and beaches/activities in the local area are second to none. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you are looking to stay anywhere in this area and do not stay at Halcyon Mawella, you have made a mistake!

One of Sri Lanka's best kept secrets!
Publié le 22 juill. 2023 sur HotelsWe had a great stay at Halcyon Mawella. It's a perfect location - long walks along the unspoilt beach were fantastic, the cocktails were done of the best we've had in Sri Lanka, the room was great and all off the staff were super friendly!
We really didn't want to leave!

Peaceful and idyllic
Publié le 3 déc. 2022 sur HotelsVery peaceful, very relaxing with very kind staff who have been ever so helpful with an issue of mine which was totally unrelated to the hotel. I definitely recommend a stay at the Halcyon if you are in the beautiful south Of Sri Lanka.
