Convenient stay near thermal spa pools

My stay was overnight. The room could do with some maintenance (e.g. cracks in shower screens, damaged table, etc), and the chewing gum on the top of the outside table was a bit ordinary. I was told on check-in that I could get room service for dinner and breakfast. When I went to place my order, I was told that the cook was not going to be in. However, the hotel is in a handy location, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was priced reasonably.

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your feedback, I would like to bring to your kind attention that we have checked your room and there was no maintenance issue that we have observed that needs to fixed, also bench which are kept outside are also cleaned on regular basis and we did not see any gum on the bench which are kept outside. Also upon check in I have informed you that we can serve dinner to you but we cannot do breakfast because the breakfast chef was on leave, I would expect some respect from consumer end as we have already put our 100% effort to bring this property on high standards, Warm Regards, Nikhil Bedi Motel Manager.

Toilet was not clean and around taps on basin were dirty or stained. Beds were comfortable although one sheet had a hole in it. Very basic and would not stay there again. Greeting was also very average.

When I arrived the manager warned me that they had only recently taken over running this place, and that the previous owners had not left things in a very desirable condition. He mentioned they had spent a few hours in each room doing their best to bring things up to an acceptable standard. Whilst I can appreciate the effort, I can certainly say that you get what you pay for with this motel. It is in it’s essence, a cheap place to stay, so I suppose it must be afforded some leniency as it is not trying to be anything fancier than it is. Overall I would say that if you’re not too fussy about where you lie your head at night, you can’t really complain about something this cheap.

It was pretty smelly inside our unit. The fridge was turned on but did not work (it stunk). There were creepy crawlies, the bathroom stunk. The bed sheets were not fresh. Overall, disappointing stay.

Attention needed to the basics.

The beds were comfortable and the host cheerful. However the smoke alarm was missing, the shower screen was shattered and the exhaust fan over the shower made a mighty racket. Our stay could have been more relaxing.
