Welcome to the Original Shipping Container Cabin in the heart of Red River Gorge! This beautiful, unique cabin is hand crafted and fully equipped for a perfect, relaxing stay in the gorge. It has amazing views of the cliff lines out of the huge floor to ceiling windows and a view of the private fire pit.

The cabin features two bedrooms, both with king beds, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. The living room has a large leather sectional and ottoman and 55 inch television, DishNetwork, DVD player, and WIFI. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes, and cooking utensils. The cabin is climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat) and has city water. There is a covered porch with chairs to enjoy the view and relax outside even if its raining. Outside the cabin is a nice private patio with a fire pit, chairs, and a hot tub! The road to the cabin is paved making access to the cabin easy.

There is a lockbox at the front door with the key in it. You will receive a code a couple days before your stay.

Please note that the wifi is good for basic browsing and internet use but may not support streaming.

Perfect Hideaway
Short trip for a relaxing weekend before the Holiday Craziness happens this week. It was exactly what the Dr. ordered. Unplug purposely from most of the world, hiked a little, watched football all weekend and hung out in the hot tub. We loved this location and will be staying again.

What a cabin!
Just had a great weekend here at this container cabin that had everything you needed. Great hot tub and grill, plenty of games and lots of cookware/spices if you are eating in. Wish I'd had booked one more night. Definitely will be back in the future!!! Beautiful place!

This property is cool! We loved the outside look of the containers and the inside is cozy and inviting. The views are wonderful! We had a very nice trip to this area and one of the highlights was definitely this cabin!!

We loved this cabin. The location felt isolated but was 5 minutes from everything. Cabin felt new and very clean. You can stargaze and even see the Milky Way. Host was responsive and accommodating. Be sure to check out Toad's Bar and Grill just a couple of minutes away.

The Original Container was just as advertised. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and the hot tub came in very handy after a long day of hiking. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property and owner.

Perfect return stay
This was our second trip to this property. It's in a perfect location for access to all that Natural Bridge/RRG has to offer. The cabin was very clean, beds are comfy, and the option to purchase firewood was really nice. Would highly recommend staying here!

Great property!
This was one of the coolest VRBO’s I’ve stayed in. It had plenty of space inside and outside. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was in a quiet, peaceful location. I would definitely recommend this property!

The shipping container cabin was unique and beautiful but the view out the window was amazing. The cabin had everything that you need. I’m not big on hiking but the hike to the natural rock bridge is a must. Breathtaking!!

Just WOW
This was the very cleanest place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed in many VRBO’s. Communication was excellent. The location was perfect. Near everything. But far enough away to have deer and turkey in our front yard. The hot tub worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. I cannot say enough. You will not be disappointed.
