Come stay at my Shipping Container Cabin in the heart of Red River Gorge! This beautiful, unique cabin is hand crafted and equipped for a perfect, relaxing stay in the gorge. It is secluded and surrounded by trees for a truly peaceful and relaxing experience.

The cabin features two bedrooms with queen beds and one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living room has a large leather sectional couch with ottoman, 42” television, DishNetwork, DVD player and WIFI. The kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, two-burner hot plate, sink, and all dishes and cooking utensils. (No oven) The cabin is climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat) and has city water. The outside of the cabin features a large, covered deck with chairs and a patio with a smokeless fire pit, chairs, and a hot tub! Go explore in the surrounding woods!

There is a lockbox with a key in it. You will receive a code for the lockbox a couple days before your stay.

Please note that the wifi is good for basic browsing and internet use but may not support streaming.

My husband and I stayed to just have some “us” time away from work, school and kiddos for our 4 year anniversary. It is a very cozy, beautiful shipping container! I loved the views and privacy. We did have a little hiccup in our stay but Amanda was very very responsive and took great care of us!

Container exceeded expectations. Property was clean, cozy, quiet...everything we needed for our anniversary trip. After spending the days sightseeing, we enjoyed the hot tub, fires and amazing porch. A must stay location with wonderful Property Manangers that worked to make sure everything you need before you ever arrive.

Lovely time traveling with my 2 daughters. They were impressed and enjoyed themselves! Comfortable beds, excellent privacy. Clean and has everything needed. We explored Rrg and the area then came back to take breaks in the air conditioned container. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rrg.

Romantic overnight stay
Spur of the moment one night stay after enjoying red river gorge. It was perfect. The hot tub was clean and hot. The bed was very comfy. The grill was perfect for some steaks and potatoes and pineapple. Absolutely worth it. Felt secluded. Would definitely return.

Loved this place! Perfectly described and had absolutely everything we needed. The hot tub and fire pit were where we spent a lot of our time and everything we needed was right there along with tongs so we could roast marshmallows!!! Best “camping” adventure we ever had!!! Amazing Place!!
We were amazed at how clean and neat and relaxing this place was! Absolutely 5 star worthy! It was like living in a tree house - sitting on the covered porch with our morning tea, listening to the birds. We would highly recommend this place - Amanda and Chad are wonderful hosts and when we lost power due to storm, they even offered to bring us coffee. Make reservations today - you won’t regret it!

Perfect Getaway Retreat
This is the 2nd time our family has stayed in one of Amanda's container cabins, and again, we were thoroughly pleased - from the cleanliness, location, and great communication. It's nice to take a break from city life, and enjoy the country setting, and family downtime hiking and enjoying the outdoors! Can't wait to stay again.

Cabin was exactly as described. 15 min drive to good hiking. Host was spectacular! Very helpful and quick to respond. Cabin is beautiful and they have thought of everything. There were a few things we forgot to bring and then realized it was already there. I will definitely stay here again.
