Quiet place to stay.

Room was adequate. Could use a deep clean in bathroom. Experienced a water drip noise all night, thought it was inside the a/c but discovered with morning light it was coming from above and hitting the outside window sill.

We booked with Expedia, and were offered an upgrade to a king room suite instead of the king room we booked, at no cost to us. This was a very nice unexpected to our one night stay to attend a wedding in Morganton.

Overall pretty good for the price. The only big complaint is the AC unit in the room would not cool the room to the desired temperature. When we walked in, the unit was off a the room was very warm. Set the temperature to 60 but I doubt the room ever got cooler than 70 by the next morning. I also heard people from two different rooms at breakfast say their rooms did not cool well either. After a full day of running it became comfortable but never to the desired temperature.
Place was clean and staff was nice.
