Thank you for visiting "Tranquil Staycations". Welcome to New Hope Retreat, a luxury mountain vacation home of "Tranquil Staycations".

Property is ideally located at a private location yet close to all attractions of Blue Ridge area with downtown Blue Ridge and Lake Bridge only a short drive away. Enter this luxury vacation home on 2.5 acres via the coded gate. House boasts an indoor pool !!! (heated for extra charge) Great entertainment with a theater room & large game room in basement with pool table & foosball.

Main level with vaulted ceilings in living room, fully stocked kitchen & dining area provides ideal setting for family time, while 5 BR gives everyone enough privacy.

Enjoy time with the family around the fire pit or grill on deck. (wood for fire pit and propane for bbq grill are guest responsibility).

Lower level:

⭐️ Large private Indoor heated pool (36 x 16 feet) available year round. Pool can be heated in the fall and winter for extra charge of $100 per day (to cover cost of propane as it requires a lot of propane to heat a pool of this size). Please note that the pool needs to be heated for the entire stay and so must pay for the entire stay at $100/day. When heated, pool heater temperature will be set to 78-80 degrees and will NOT be hot like a hot tub. Please reach out to host for pool heating charges payment and setting up propane pool heater.

Alcohol is not allowed in or near the pool. You are not allowed to use the pool if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Use the pool AT YOUR OWN RISK! No life guard on duty. Absolutely no diving allowed. Please follow pool rules.

⭐️⭐️⭐️NO PETS IN POOL AREA: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Please note pets are not allowed in the pool area. It is very expensive to clean the pool after pets. Plus pool has a lining which can be easily damaged by pet claws/paws which can lead to a tear in the pool and will require the entire lining to be changed which is extremely expensive. If there is any evidence of pets in the pool area such pet hair etc, a heavy fine of $1000 will be imposed plus any costs for cleaning and repairing pool will be guest responsibility.

The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with all your needs for your home away from home to either serve a hearty breakfast or prepare a home cooked family meal for those nights when you don't feel like eating out. If you are not in the mood to cook indoors, you can always BBQ on the gas grill outside (It is guest responsibility to refill BBQ grill propane tank).

⭐️ House-trained pets are welcome for a pet fee of $150 per pet per booking (max 2 pets, 30lbs max weight limit each)

(Please note no pets are allowed in the pool. if there is any evidence of pets entering the pool area, there will be penalty of $1000 to cover the costs of cleaning the pool)

Secluded and peaceful
We had a great time despite 3 days of rain. Had young grandchildren who loved the indoor pool….they were able to have fun while it rained. The very large deck with hot tub was wonderful. Well appointed kitchen. Plenty to do at the house and in Blue Ridge. Also enjoyed a fire one night

Great Place to Relax
Property is well off the beaten path, so if it's quiet you're after this is the place. The bedrooms were very large and plenty of bathrooms. The pool is very large but if you're thinking not to heat it, my suggestion is to rethink it. It can get quite cold at night.

Very dirty with layers of Dust, vents were filled with lint. We had to wipe down the banister hand rails and stairs. Wipe the door handles. Didn’t enjoy the movie room snacks because mold and liquid in the popcorn containers. Dryer vent not attached or cleaned out after each guest so filled - Fire hazard! Plus NO smoke detectors on the walls (in closets without batteries) Violation code broken! After we booked the home, received an email if we wanted the pool heated (not in budget so declined and couldn’t use all because too cold) when we called manager, they sent cleaners out, BUT we did a lot already. Couldn’t do a deep clean since we were present. Said do it tomorrow when we are gone and they said too busy. Told me we will get cleaning fee refunded, no Refund! Definitely ripped off with that charge! We didn’t even walk barefoot in that place.

Make Some Memories
Our family had a wonderful stay this week at New Hope Retreat. We enjoyed every single thing about this property! The kitchen, bedrooms, and living area provided ample space for our crew of 8 adults and 5 children. The pool is great(we paid extra for heating after reading other reviews). The game room, hot tub, fire pit and theatre room were popular with everybody. We made so many good memories this week and hope to return next year. The host was great at communicating everything we needed to know. Thanks for a great getaway!

Wonderful stay at New Hope Retreat
Everything came as advertised including the fantastic indoor pool. Clean, well-maintained house and property. Sure, there are signs of wear in the house but very typical of a house of this age and nothing major to truly complain about. The pool is large for being indoor. Deep at 8' at one end. We opted for the heating and it was worth it for us. I can imagine the little ones would get very cold in mountain city water temp. The temp gauge showed 80-82 degrees water temp, again as advertised. The one star detract for "location" is the dirt driveway. Was concerned about getting stuck driving down it in the minivan but no issues there. I can imagine your car will get muddy on a wet day. We did not have wet days during our stay. The trash chest has some loose garbage in it and does smell. The trash will only be taken in bags. You may get a whiff here and there when taking out your garbage. Again, not a big deal. Hot tub worked perfectly. Grill worked perfectly. All appliances worked perfectly. You can tell that the owners do take care of the house. One other big positive working with the management. Although I was never able to connect with them on the phone, email contacts were quickly responded to. 15-20 min from Blue Ridge, 5 min to Morganton. Easy drives for a day out. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants. We also did a fishing excursion on Lake Blue Ridge. The marina was 5 min away in Morganton. Great day of fishing with a bunch of spotted bass caught.

Great space close to Blue Ridge!
My family and I had a great stay! We loved all the amenities at the home. Also, it’s a short drive (around 15 minutes) to downtown Blue Ridge which has tons of great restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property if you’re looking for a great vacation for either a small or large group of people. I’d love to stay here again in the future! The host gave a lot of information about the property and surrounding area prior to our stay. They were very quick to respond to any questions and were very kind!

Quick getaway
This home is nice with ample bedroom space, however the living room furniture although very modern is not comfortable or cozy. The couch was broken in the middle and one side. The home needs an overhaul cleaning. Cobwebs are everywhere, even hanging from the ceiling and the vents are full of dirt. The path to the front door is very overgrown and looks like a snake is waiting to come out.

Lots of room
My family and I stayed here for a week. Great spacious home located nearby sights to see, grocery stores, gas stations and take out restaurants. I don’t know about any sit down restaurants as we did not use any. House is spacious for 11 of us- 6 adults, 5 children Driving to Ruby Falls in Tennessee, downtown Blue Ridge, Helen, Hiawassee and Lake Burton and other areas of interest are within 60-90 drive. Ash, the property manager was VERY responsive when I contacted her. We had an issue with the kitchen faucet the day we arrived and Ash had the service person out the same day and problem was solved.

The house was amazing and the host was so easy to get ahold of and very compliant. The only disappointment we had was the pool. I had paid for it to be heated & the water was to cold for my grandchildren & Mother to swim. They was extremely disappointed

Beautiful Property!
I cannot advise enough to arrive during daylight hours! It was a little scary pulling up to the area in pitch black, but in daylight it was a completely different vibe! The house was beautiful and very accommodating! I ended up forgetting ait of little things but I was always able to locate a substitute in house. I'd bring extra towels if you have larger than a group of 10. Great for a family holiday but we used it for girls trip. They even decorated for Christmas which was so nice! There are motion lights outside when you pull up or use the fire pit. The pool is pretty gets pretty deep at 8ft, but isn't very winter friendly. I wouldn't recommend it if outdoor temps are under 60. Host will notify you of the temperature limitations though, which is considerate since there are fees for heating. All in all, we're already planning another trip! Blue ridge has some very friendly people and lots of fun things to do.

Fun weekend
Wonderful quick weekend getaway with my family. The house was spacious and comfortable. There was an abundance of large TVs that were great for watching football games. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the movie room and the indoor pool. More lighting in the indoor pool room would be nice to make swimming at night an option. One of my grandsons thought it was the best house we had ever stayed in.
