Gorgeous cabin Blue Ridge
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayA beautiful property! Everything we needed for a family of 6 & two dogs. Furnishings & decor beyond beautiful, yet functional! Well-stocked kitchen for cooking in. Modern appliances. Large deck fenced in for dogs & child to play. Stunning view. Owner very thorough with all communication .

We had campfires, played games, read, relaxed, ate dinners together, and so much more. I am so glad we did this. Chris is an excellent host. He was right on top of every question we had pertaining to the cabin. He offered suggestions of things to do in the area. He made sure we felt at home.
Absolutely loved it!

Mountainside Retreat

Not only that, each house/cabin on this privately owned road, seems to have no other obstructions for its own views. The house was clean and inviting upon first entering it, but what I noticed immediately, is the view. The cabin has plenty of woodwork for a rustic feel with numerous modern amenities and creature comforts. There was so much to do in the surrounding areas and the homeowner even provided a thorough guide to all the attractions as well as a detailed map to help get you there. Chris was always a quick text or phone call away if anything happened or if I needed a quick answer. Pretty much whatever a person needs while staying at this treasure of a home is provided. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and his care for both his home and for those who choose to stay in it for a respite. I would recommend this place to anyone and would enjoy staying again.

Chris and his wife have thought of everything that you will need and the view from the deck is 10 times better than the pictures online. The outdoor living room and kitchen was perfect for grilling and hanging out. The indoor living room and kitchen were perfect for breakfast and evening family time. Also about 5 minutes from Project Chimps which is a must see when in Blue Ridge. Great vacation house and we look forward to visiting again.

Girls Trip
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe view was beautiful and better than I expected. The covered decks were very nice too since it did rain most of the time. The inside of the cabin was clean and uniquely decorated. The outside area; deck, chairs and hot tub were very unkept requiring me to clean the outdoor area before we could sit down. Everything was covered in a very thick layer of pollen which was unusual for mid May. I’ve lived in Georgia, one hour from the cabin, my entire life and know all about pollen season which is why I waited to schedule the trip. The cushions on the outdoor furniture need replaced as several were ripped. Also, be forewarned, you will be watched and listened to by the Ring door camera. I ended up having two additional last minute guests join me on the trip. The owner texted me soon after our arrival inquiring about the number of guests and promptly sent me an invoice before I could respond. I would have paid three times the additional invoice amount to have been allowed to enjoy the remainder of my trip without being harassed over $40.

Hmmmm....yup, and there's our annual "complain about anything guest"....Misty communication was non existent....she did not return my required check-in call prior to arrival OR update me on her arrival status OR respond to my single request about her total number of guests, so..... YES I did have to go back and review our exterior security cameras to FINALLY get her extra guests at check out that she brought along....as for the pollen, well....mother nature can be messy at times!! But without pollen there would be no trees, flowers, honey or nature to enjoy! :) Our cabin gets a THOROUGH interior and exterior cleaning before all guests arrive, which in Misty's case was 2 days prior to her arrival....had Misty messaged me upon her arrival about the horrific unkept "mother nature's dusting", I would have directed her to our handy dandy electric blower tucked away in our laundry room to simply send it on it's way! Rest assured, pollen season is ending my future guests, and Moosemac has been restored to its pristine condition for your upcoming trip!!
