.Nearby great places to visit. Awesome hiking trails and parks to take our German Sheperd on day outings with us.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Dutch Country Cottage

The cookies, bread, milk, eggs and jelly left by the host were truly awesome. Surrounded by trees, you really felt the privacy. We will most surely be back to this little slice of heaven.

Like Going Back in Time

The cottage and grounds have been beautifully maintained, and there is even a walking trail through the woods which we thoroughly enjoyed. It has many modern conveniences-including wifi, but there is no tv. Trust me, we were happier sitting out back watching nature and traveling the short distances through the countryside to the local farm markets and small towns.We absolutely loved the place!

Peaceful respite + great racetrack access
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe visited for a weekend at Maple Grove Raceway, which was just 15 min away (and not the typical traffic direction).
The cottage is charming and quiet - we loved making use of the grill and fire pit, enjoying dinner outside with the sounds of crickets, peepers and other woodland friends, with quiet mornings with coffee on the back patio.
The home itself is well furnished with convenient amenities, we were very comfortable for our stay. Thank you so much, and we hope to visit again!
