Great 2 bedroom, 2 storey apartment is situated directly opposite Mornington Beach, with spectacular views of the bay and boat harbour. Close to Mornington Yacht Club and pier. Perfect location- walk across the road to the beach and a short walk to the Main St. shops, boutiques and parks.
There is a small secluded fenced off courtyard/garden area downstairs.
This apartment has all the modern conveniences-balcony with amazing views, lounge with LCD TV, DVD, audio and sound system, reverse cycle air-conditioning , heating, and fireplace. Full kitchen with stove hob and 2 BBQ hotplates ,oven, microwave, full fridge ( new) , 1/2 dishwasher ( new ) , toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery ,pots and pans, espresso coffee maker. The bathroom has a washer, clothes dryer, and hair dryer. There is an iron and ironing board in the bedroom cupboard downstairs.
New outdoor decking on balcony upstairs.
Sleeps 4 ideally but with a folding sofa bed upstairs ( so can sleep 5) . Bedding is queen bed in one bedroom and 2 single in the other. All linen and towels included as well as free wifi.
It has everything you need on a holiday.

LOCATION- BEST POSITION IN MORNINGTON, great for Summer or Winter stays!
This is the perfect spot for fun, rest and relaxation. It is directly opposite the beach. Just stroll across the road and spend the day swimming, reading and relaxing. Walk along the beach and go the the pier. See the fishermen, try fishing or have fish and chips on the pier.
Walk along the parkland and playground area. Follow the historic trail along Main St. Visit the lovely galleries in the area.
Watch the fireworks from the comfort of the balcony on Australia Day and see the spectacle.
Eat out everyday and night at the great restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby: DOC, The Rocks, Squires Loft Steak Grillhouse, Assagini, Brass Razu Winebar, Afghan Marco Polo, The Winey Cow, Blackbird cafe, Kirks On The Esplanade, The Royal Hotel and many more. There are Fish n Chips shops, Burger Bars ( Thanks Albert) , Mexican, Asian and Indian cuisines- casual and fine dining. There are ice-cream shops, Yo Chi cafe and gelati bars. There is something for everyone.
It is close to the wineries, golf courses, bowls and tennis clubs, great cafes and restaurants as well as spa resorts. Enjoy fishing ,swimming, sailing, eating, shopping, playing golf, tennis or bowls, picking cherries, walking or just relaxing. Explore Main St with it's boutique shops. Go to the local library nearby and read the papers while you have a coffee at the lovely library cafe. The apartment is near the boat launching ramp so boats are welcome.
Visit the lovely galleries in the area including the nearby Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery ( MPRG), which hosts the Archibald prize winners. 2023 Archibald Prize viewing will be 15th Sept. - 5th Nov.

It is only 25 minutes drive to the world renown Peninsula Hot Springs where you can spend a day at this world class outdoor collection of natural hot springs and get pampered with massages, treatments, saunas or dip and dine there.
Mornington Peninsula is particularly famous for its wineries and fine dining, secluded beaches, as well as Arthur's Seat look-out and Chair Lift ( for a spectacular view), mazes and horse riding along the beaches, Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale, Phillip Island penguins, surfing at Gunnamatta or other back beaches, and the coastal attractions of Portsea and Sorrento. You can take the Sorrento-Queenscliff ferry and explore the Bellarine Peninsula.
There are great nature walks and views at Cape Schanck, Mt Martha, Point Nepean, Arthur's Seat, and Red Hill. There are many farmer's and craft markets at Redhill, Mt. Eliza and Mornington as well as the iconic Dromana drive-in, surf beaches of Sorrento and Portsea and great pubs.
Mornington Beach Apartment is great accommodation in the best position. It's a little slice of heaven.

Come to the MORNINGTON WINTER MUSIC FESTIVAL : 7-10th June 2024. Great music, great food and all within walking distance.
This apartment is wonderful for cosy winter stays. It has a great log fireplace; snuggle up on the couch while the fire is blazing . Gaze over the bay while toasting your toes near the fire. Walk to Main Street and dine in the many restaurants, hotels and cafes that have open fireplaces. During the day, go walking along the many beach and bush tracks nearby.
Visit the lovely galleries in the area including the nearby Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery ( MPRG), which hosts the Archibald prize winners. 2023 Archibald Prize viewing will be 15th Sept. - 5th Nov.

Pop in to the wineries and cellar doors along the way and warm up your insides with magnificent dining and wining including 5 star cellar doors and restaurants such as Montalto, T'Gallant, Paringa Estate, Port Phillip, Ten minute by Tractor and many more. Finally drive to the Penisula Hot Springs to really warm up. Pamper yourself with a treatment or just spend the day going in and out of the many natural hot spring pools and saunas while viewing the most spectacular scenery. Mornington is a suburb of Melbourne, 53 km South East of the CBD, and is known for its shopping village, foreshore, and local beach with a playground, yacht club, and restaurant.
Mornington is one of the coastal Victorian towns where Melbourne’s wealthy come to play. The village tastefully fuses the finer things in life with its natural surrounds, creating a relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city, only a short one-hour drive from Melbourne. The heart of the Mornington Peninsula, this seaside village boasts a wide array of farm-to-table restaurants where local dishes are coupled with the region’s fine wines, offers weary travellers plenty of spa treatments to help them rejuvenate and features some of the most scenic golf courses in Australia.

Eating and Drinking in Mornington

The region surrounding Mornington is extremely fertile, allowing for produce to thrive and grapes to ripen. In town, visitors can sample fresh, organic dishes at one of the many restaurants, such as the Grand Hotel Bistro, a Mornington icon within a heritage-listed building. On the second Saturday of every month, Mornington Park hosts a farmers’ market, where you can buy baked goods as well as farm fresh produce.
In the Mornington area, there are over 50 vineyards, ten of which are only a short drive from town. The region’s specialties include Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Relaxing in Mornington

For many, the Mornington Peninsula is synonymous with spa culture. Walk along Mornington’s main street and it won’t take long to run into clusters of spas. Treatment options abound, whether you’re simply looking for a small pick-me-up or want to spend the whole day being pampered. If you’re up for a bit of a drive, you can head to the Peninsula Hot Springs, well known throughout the country. As the only geothermal hot springs in Victoria with over 20 pools, you can easily spend the day relaxing away. The Springs are split into two sections: the Bath House for families and groups and the Spa Dreaming Centre for total peace and quiet. In addition to spa sessions, you can opt for any number of health and beauty treatments at the hot springs.

Scenic Golf Sessions

Mornington is a golfer’s paradise. Three courses are situated in or close to town, each offering the opportunity to play some serious (or not so serious!) golf, while taking in the area’s natural beauty. There’s the Mornington Golf Club, which boasts an 18-hole course atop the cliffs, affording views of the ocean and distant Melbourne skyline. Mount Martha Golf Course, in the next town over, suits players of all skill levels and also features bay vistas. If you prefer to leave the coastline behind, you can spend the day at Devilbend Golf Club, which is located in a nature reserve.

Equestrian Adventures

Another characteristic of Mornington is the area’s keen interest in everything to do with horses, from riding them to betting on them. Travellers may wish to go for a beachfront ride or even spend the day trotting through the region’s wineries. Full or half-day tours with qualified instructors offer both possibilities. Now, if you get your thrills at the races, look up the Mornington Race Club, considered Australia’s best countryside club. Buy tickets to one of the races held over the summer months or book your getaway to coincide with the Mornington Cup in February or Peninsula Cup in October.

Getting to Mornington

The most straightforward way to get to Mornington from Melbourne is by car. As you drive down the Peninsula, don’t forget to look out the window and enjoy those coastal views. Public transport will also get you to Mornington but a number of bus transfers at least doubles the length of your trip.

Great location and apartment. Three adults was very comfortable everything we needed and the bonus of a wood fire for a great night in. Clean and comfortable across from the beach and close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Communication was excellent. Would happily book again if visiting Mornington.

Great Location
The owner provided detailed helpful information about the property, and check-in was simple. The townhouse is well-equipped and in a perfect location with great views over the beach and bay, and so close to the restaurants and cafes of the main street. We were attending an all day concert at Mornington Racecourse, and it was well located for that, if we weren't out so much we would have had more time to enjoy the townhouse and its views.

Great location very convenient walk to the beach (across the road) and to the Main Street (5 minutes walk). Balcony over looks the beach nice to unwind after a long day. A place for all seasons. We look forward to come back again soon.

Unfortunately it was filthy with dust everywhere and food remains on oven and hob.
A bad experience we had to leave after one night it was so bad . We had booked for 5 nights and would have left immediately after entering the accomodation but we had to stay one night until we devoted alternative accomodation by another provider. I think Rachelle was attentive and seemed to be unawares of how bad the accomodation was in terms of upkeep and cleanliness. She did provide partial refund which was helpful as securing an alternative stay at short notice was very expensive, Kinda spoiled the holiday for us.

Relaxing Weekend
We had a fantastic relaxing weekend in Mornington. The city views were fantastic and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sun set. It is a very short walk into town where good coffee shops and restaurants abound. We’re going to go back again next time we need a recharge.
