Didn't know I prepaid

I read the hotel per the instructions for the hotel to let them know my arrival date upon my checkout I was asked to pay when I had already prepaid and I was asked for my documents that I had printed from the site and was asked if they could keep them because they didn't have anything saying that I had paid. That wasn't okay.

We are sorry you were upset by this. The person on duty was not made aware that you had paid last year for your stay this was a failure on our part and I apologize for that. She had to make sure that she would be able to track the payment, so please forgive her for asking for the documents. Thankyou for your good score nevertheless!
