Perfection in Paradise!

Melanie and Jay were so helpful before the trip with recommendations and advice, and they were super quick to respond to any questions or communications. They also provided lots of info in a handy binder in the house itself. Ms. Lynda was a doll and gave us such a warm welcome on arrival. The house itself is very spacious, bright, and well-appointed. We had two families of 4 staying for the week and there was more than enough room for us all. It was clear that no expense has been spared in stocking this home, which makes it such an easy stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need (and more), and the BEDS were SO comfortable - we slept like babies!
As if the house wasn't enough to make us swoon, the outdoor space truly took our breath away. The views from this home are unreal and mesmerized us from the moment we walked through the front door. The deck area is HUGE with tons of seating options (shaded and otherwise). We took full advantage of the kayaks and the swimming pool. The beach is pristine - we only saw one other person when we were there! And, as a bonus, we took a fishing charter and were able to cook our catches on the grill that night, which was the perfect ending to our week of relaxation in paradise!
We will definitely be back again! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!

beautiful with all the space needed for a group of 10. Kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a great place to end the day! Communication was fast and very responsive! Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect house for group of friends

We had a group of 10, which included 3 families total (youngest was 16) and I think we enjoyed everything the house, and our hosts and sweet Lynda, had to offer. The villa was beautiful, the pool was wonderful, the beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing! Our boys loved the kayaks, paddleboards, and cornhole. We used the pool floats, beach chairs & umbrellas & several nights played giant jenga, uno & poker. The poker chips were a special bonus for the boys who had nightly poker games! We enjoyed walking down to Tim’s several times for a quick bite or a great specialty drink. Otherwise, the house is stocked with anything you might need. The hosts & Lynda truly have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, even putting the house literally within a couple of minutes from the airport. They also checked on us during our stay to see if we needed anything and their communication and response was always immediate to any questions we had. It was a great week and we loved our trip to the island thanks to Jay, Melanie and Lynda and our stay at Villa Oceania!

Amazing Vacation Property
Publié le 29 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a group of 10 adults getting together for a group birthday party. The house was in a perfect location on the island, only a few minutes from the airport. Georgetown was a short 15 minute drive and there are many restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores all very close to the house. Prime Meats and Smitty’s were the best places to get groceries and there is a liquor store next to Smitty’s. The property is beautiful and we had everything we needed for our stay. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, pool floats, loungers, etc., the house had everything!!!! There was plenty of space in the house for all 10 of us and we never felt cramped. Lynda, the house manager was always available and communication was amazing. She can answer any question you have. We have stayed at many different VRBOs in many different locations and my wife and I agree this was the best stay we have ever had at a VRBO. Do not hesitate to book this property it is perfect, and the island is beautiful.

Birthday trip getaway!

Lynda was wonderful in helping us find a restaurant for my birthday dinner and helping us get a cake and gluten free cupcakes (my daughter is GF) delivered for my birthday. The beach was very relaxing. We did some excursions on the island as well and had a great time. We loved the Villa and hope to be back one day!

Great Family House!
Publié le 11 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I took our two daughters, 19m and 3yrs old along with both sets of my parents for the week. The house was perfect for our group, we could have had more people come there was so much room! Plenty of pool floats, sand toys, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, lounge chairs and umbrellas to really enjoy the beach and the pool. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and dishes, yeti cups for the beach, spices to cook. The owners and the house manager were very responsive and helpful in making sure our trip was flawless. Highly recommend and might even come back!

Jimmy Hill Gem

We were so excited because after getting up at 2:00 am to fly from Detroit we were ready to take our shoes off and relax. Lynda was in touch with us weeks before we arrived, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. She even reached out the night before to wish us safe travels. We frequent Exuma often and have stayed at several homes on the island and Lynda hands down has been the best PM we have encountered. By the time we arrived, she felt like family. Lynda also reached out to us throughout the week and if we had questions she was very quick to respond. The homeowners were just as fabulous, great communication prior to arrival and reached out mid-stay as well to make sure we didn’t need anything. The house itself was absolutely as described. The amount of seating areas is fantastic inside and out, plenty of space for everyone. We loved the number of lounge chairs and how there were plenty to shift around as the sun moved. Jimmy Hill is beautiful and we loved being able to walk to Tim’s on the Bay. The beds in the home were so comfortable and we loved the little touches like robes and slippers. The kitchen is fully stocked and we had everything we could possibly need to get us through the week. Definitely a great stay and we would recommend the home to others! AMAZING PROPERTY!

The grounds are lovely and the villa exceptional. It is everything as stated in the listing and more. We are a family of 12, 7 adults and 5 young children. The villa and amenities were extremely accomodating. Too numerous to list. Anyone that has visited The Exuma's knows the water/beaches are absolutely stunning. The Oceania did not disappoint. The beach is absoluetly gorgeous!! It is long in either direction. Great for walking, running or simply hanging out. Jay & Melanie were very informative prior to our arrival and available at any time if we needed to contact them. Lynda the property manager introduced herself about a month prior to our arrival. She too was very informative. Also available to help at any time if we needed someting. Quick response time. Very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Jay & Melanie for sharing your home with us. Your attentention to detail shows through out. It is quite obvious that you take great pride in your vacation home. We all had a great time and look forward to another return trip to Exuma. Thank You!
