Wonderful spot, comfortable cottage

The position was great- near enough to get provisions but far enough away to feel on vacation. We enjoyed the three bedrooms, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, separate dining space (or sadly, makeshift workspace for those of us who weren’t fully on vacation) , lovely dock, kayaks/board at our disposal and fire pit. This place has it all!

Lake Winnie remodel was a dream!

So close to Castle in the Clouds meant lots of great hikes with my pup followed by afternoons reading with a glass of wine on the dock! WiFi wasn’t great so if you plan to work I would come with a hot spot. Absolute dream for my schnauzer and I and I would absolutely come back!!

Lakefront paradise

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a tastefully decorated (and air conditioned) interior, fresh-cut flowers along with a personal note from the owner who immediately made us feel like we had been coming here for years. The grounds have been preserved to maintain the feel of a traditional lakeside camp. Whether having morning coffee on the screened porch or taking in the breathtaking sunsets on the brand-new dock, this property was everything what we had hoped it would be.
