This cottage is so country, quiet and cozy. The homeowners are close by and very friendly. I stayed for bike week and when rain was abroad they even offered shelter for the bikes! House was very clean and feels like home.

We loved it!
Publié le 18 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were right on the lake with a sandy beach and a dock to tie our boat up at. The boat launch was in Center Harbor, but a two-hour sail brought us to the property. There was also a paddle boat, a paddle board and a kayak.
The house was clean and comfortable. It comfortably slept four, plus a convertible sofa in the living room would have slept two more.
Lovely! Owners who lived next door were very accommodating.

Waterfront cottage on lake winnipesaukee
Publié le 29 août 2023 sur HomeAwayI especially appreciated the location of the house on the lake which permitted easy launching of a 14 ft. sailboat and 2 kayaks into the lake from the property. Also, the property was located on one of the inlets to Winnipesaukee that had a smaller quiet section to the north, with conservation land on one side that was good for kayaking; and a larger section that connects with the main part of the lake, towards the south that was good for sailing.
