Wonderful stay
Publié le 18 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe traveled about 3 hours for a trip to Mayberry with our 5 year old and in-laws. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The house is in a great location. It is a short drive to everything.

In the heart of Mayberry

Hi Melissa: Not many visitors use the bikes and find the bike trails so glad you enjoyed them. Most folks like the softer plush top beds, we can remove the plush tops in advance for you next time. Thanks, Anthony

Peaceful get away

Mt Airy stay
Publié le 22 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse very clean, nicely decorated. Owners/manager fast and friendly communications. Neighborhood was a little rough, dog barked all night. The house was the nicest one on the street. We had a nice stay. Was able to tour the town like we had planned, but didn’t walk only drove.

Lovely home in Historic District

Mayberry Front Porch
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I were just there for a weekend (Aug 2nd & 3rd Fri. & Sat. left on Sun.) The cottage was very clean & comfortable & well decorated with the feel of home. Friday was kinda rainy, but we managed to visit the Andy Griffith Museum, which was very enjoyable. The weather cleared up on Sat. & we took in all the Mayberry tours & activities & checked out all the little shops downtown. Since we are both in our late 70's...& my husband uses a walker we really enjoyed frequent stops along the way with lots of park benches to rest. We had a great lunch & ice cream at Barney's Cafe...all the restaurants were great! Afterwards we saw a great movie at the Earle Theatre downtown & enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Depot about 17 mins away in Dobson. We highly recommend this restaurant...great food & prices. We hope to go back next year & stay at Mayberry Front Porch.
