Sweet little apartment
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay in this clean apartment. Everything is in walking distance, the neighborhood and house is very quiet and peaceful. The vintage touches are fun and appreciated. Plenty of storage and the smart TVs are great for catching up on your favorite streaming shows. The owners were very nice and hospitable, we would love to return!

Mayberry/Mt. Airy exploration . . . .
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIf you are looking for a location close to downtown Mt. Airy, this might be the place for you. Everything, e.g.,
Andy Griffin Museum, Main Street, etc., is within walking distance.
The space is as described in the VRBO info and pictures. There is a set of about 20 stairs to climb to enter but we (two seniors) made it fine during our two night stay without any issues.
The space was clean and adequate for our needs. We enjoyed out stay and would return.

Cozy and Unique stay in Maysville, NC
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Maysville, NC! The home is located in a safe area, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. As a bonus, Maysville is the hometown of Andy Griffith, which added a bit of charm to the visit. The property was super clean, and the hosts were fantastic—responsive and welcoming.
The home had everything we needed, with all the essential kitchen amenities in place. The vintage refrigerator and stove were a delightful surprise. The stove, in particular, was incredible—truly a gem that they don't make like that anymore!
A few things to note: the property does require climbing a significant number of stairs to enter, so it might not be ideal for those with mobility concerns. Also, there are no laundry facilities on the premises. The sofa bed is a Serta, but it's more of a twin-sized futon—perfect for a small child but not quite suitable for an adult. However, it was comfortable for its size.
The internet connection was excellent, which was a huge plus. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this place for a cozy and unique stay in Maysville!

Adorable apartment
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a great location, close to everything. It was very clean. We loved how this apartment is styled. Very quick responses from host. There are stairs to climb, which I didn't relaize when I reserved it, my husband is awful with stairs but, he survived, lol. Great place to stay! Highly recommend!

Mt. Airy is all about the Andy Griffith Show, and Mayberry. This vintage apartment is amazing and continues the feel of the town when you turn in for the night. I have no idea how you find these vintage appliances that still work perfectly. At first I thought I wasn't getting the information from the host, but it turned out that Vrbo's system is very unstable and I couldn't log in to get it. The host was communicating and would respond almost immediately to messages. Don't hesitate to stay here. Know that you do have to walk up stairs to get to the apartment, but as long as that's fine, this is a great place. It's walking distance to everything in town. Oh... take the squad car tour in town. It's worth every penny!

Nice
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was decorated cute, clean, a very relaxing get away in a wonderful town that has the most patriotic July 4th parade. I was able to stay 2 nights which was perfect to spend the night of the 3rd and be in town early before the parade and support the local economy. I also stayed the second night to be able to watch the fireworks and not have to drive home late on a holiday night. The neighborhood was very quiet. Good find. Thank you!
