Only thing we were not told was it was attached to other units, one was the owners and it had an adjoining door in the living room.

Mount Barker Stay
Publié le 10 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayGood location. The host was very pleasant, helpful and provided information on local wineries and distillery. Large house area and big kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed having my own room rather than sharing. Bathroom appeared newly constructed and could have been in a 5 star hotel. Outside was very barren as there had not been rain for some months and in the yard was very much of a working property.

Fantastic stay in the countryside

Escape to the country
Publié le 13 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayPete's retreat allows you to experience silence at night. It was wonderful to wake to the sounds of the cows and sheep.
The property was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and clean. It may look like a shed from the outside but as you cross the threshold of a beautifully hand crafted door by Pete you are transported into another world.

We enjoyed our stay at Pete’s Peaceful Paradise, while there we were out looking at sights everyday.

Very spacious and clean!

Pete is amazing! His wife and himself keep this place very clean and cozy.
It has got everything you may need - a spacious living room, two beautiful bedrooms, a stylish bathroom with shower and a well equipped kitchen!
The location is good as well, it is sitting in a quiet spot - not too far from Mount Barker (about 20-25 mins), and quite close to the Stirling Range National Park and to the Porongurup Tourist National Park (about 45-50 mins).
Will definitely recommend this stay to our friends and will come there again!

Lovely peaceful place
Publié le 8 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayFriendly hosts, beautifully restored roomy place, sparkling clean, comfy bed, nice selection of food for brekky. Very peaceful, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but only short drive to Mt Barker.

Pete was a great host. The accommodation was very spacious and beautifully presented. Would definitely stay again.
