Acadia and Bar Harbor

Great location - close to everything on MDI
Posted Jul. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat location on the quiet side of MDI. We used the house as our home base and fully explored Acadia and Mount Desert Island. Would recommend a few more kitchen plates and utensils, as well as additional towels, (and possibly another floor fan as a couple of days it was rather warm in the house), but aside from that the house met all of our needs.

Would stay here again
Posted Aug. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayI've stayed at many VRBOs and such, and this host was by far the best at communication. Her driving directions were very precise, and so was everything else. The house is very quiet and private on a wooded lot--just a beautiful setting. The house was clean and comfortable and included every brochure and map you could imagine for finding your way around the island and finding things to do. We were mostly hiking on this trip but also did a sightseeing/fishing charter.

Convenient Location for Hiking

Charming and Cozy Acadia Retreat
Posted Oct. 17, 2022 on HomeAwayWe stayed here for a long weekend in October. The property was serene and beautiful, the cottage was well-laid out, clean and had everything we could ask for. Our host had plenty of expert information and was very responsive to questions etc. Would definitely book again!
