Peaceful wooded setting
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Stay!
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur little family stayed at this property and it was perfect for what we needed. Our active 2 year needed a place to play and rest in between our adventures. This place checked all of the boxes. Lots of cute touches for the kids and super quiet! Very close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbour. J.F. was so friendly and helpful during our stay as well. Can’t wait to come back!

This was a perfect basement unit to relax in after hiking all day at Acadia. The hosts were amazing with communication and gave us recommendations on hikes, food, and unique things to do. We also had the option to use their canoes and grill. They wanted us to truly cherish our Maine experience.

Excellent location and friendly owners
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayQuiet and comfortable location with easy access to Acadia. The property is located across the street from long pond and has excellent kayak access.
JF is a fantastic and welcoming host and gave us a tour of the property. We had an excellent time in Acadia and really enjoyed the peaceful evenings in the woods. JF and Suzanne also provide a binder with excellent information on spots to eat and explore around the island. We would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a spot to stay while visiting Acadia!

Great location and friendly owner
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a great location for visiting all parts of Acadia. The owner is friendly and accessible and gave us a tour of the pretty property. We ran out of time to take advantage of the kayaks, but Long Pond is just across the street. A good home base for exploring.

Perfect Stay!
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was absolutely perfect for our trip, the apartment was meticulously clean, located close to lots of great food, and extremely close to Acadia.
The apartment itself was easy to find, spacious, and homey. The beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed to feel comfortable! The microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker all came in handy too. JF gave lots of helpful recommendations. Just a note, there's a gravel driveway leading up to the parking area, so don't be surprised!
We loved walking around the property by the stream and kayaking on the lake. Super convenient to access the kayaks!

If you like nature, nice lil rustic place to stay.
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayRustic little gem. Beds were comfortable. Sits on wooded area that was very inviting. Utilized the kayaks in a lake that is walking distance. Very much enjoyed our stay. Only thing I could possibly complain about is the chairs in the sitting area are not very comfortable. Our host was very kind, helpful and informative of the area, as we went to Acadia National park.
