It had a large cut in the wall that I could put my hand in, it looked like blood splattered on the curtains (not sure exactly), the bathtub was disgusting and the stopper for the tub wouldn’t stay up so the water wouldn’t drain. My daughter started a shower with her socks on because of the condition of the tub. The smell was musty and the people next door were smoking outside the door. I was booked for two nights but only stayed for one.

The lake views are nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The room had a musty odor, the bathtub had rust stains, the shower curtain had some mold on it, the tub was semi clogged, the water only partially came out of the shower and the bathroom door needed to be replaced.

The first night was very quiet but the second one was very noisy. Somebody keep setting the car alarm off. People were running up and down the walkway in front of our room

I went to the front desk, and he had no problem giving me a new room, which was also damp. He said it was because they redid the grout on the tub. There was a lizard in my room. The hotel had a lot of guests of questionable repute coming and going at late hours. The cable was basic, and the TV was fuzzy. I did not see any alligators at the adjacent lake which was disappointing. The continental breakfast was great! You can make your own waffles. Overall, I would say my stay at Quality Inn & Suites Mt Dora North was on par with what I paid for the room. So good value for the money and the breakfast exceeded expectations.

The pictures lie. The first room was not set up, so they gave us another. The electricity was iffy as the lights blinked on and off a lot. It was not unclean, but just humid in the rooms and I think old and the updates were all cosmetics.
