I'd originally booked a stay at another motel locally, after not being impressed driving into the other motel, i stepped one foot in my room and said 'nope' and left, i then booked a night at the lovely Outback Motel Mt Isa, and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, quiet, safe, and the staff were all very friendly. The next day i had my car booked in for a service at Ford down the road, and even though id checked out, the staff let me and my dogs stay in the lounge area of the motel for a few hours while we waited for my car. Definitely recommend!

Nice, spacious room to stay in.
And a great meal of pizza vegetarian lasagna available on site.
. . . the menu was varied, not limited to Italian🙂

Just a little gem of a property in Mt Isa… rooms are spacious & sparkling clean.. Bottled water, tea, coffee, milk generously stocked in room… Food in the restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced..

Property although not new it was large and in good condition and clean. We found the bed way too soft though for us as you sink right into it.
The shower was excellent.
