Newly renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage. All new furnishings and appliances Spring 2019. Enough parking to bring your boat and the landing is 1 block away. Enjoy Shem creeks famous restaurants and nightlife. There are 18 restaurants, 2 coffee shops and a beverage super store all just a short walk from your home away from home. With outdoor TV for those fall football games this home has much to offer. The beaches of Sullivans island and Isle of Palms are 10 and 12 minutes drive while historic Charleston is only 15 minutes away. Pet Friendly with a fenced in back yard you will not be disappointed. The owners are experienced and have four other units that are all next door to one another totaling 9 queen beds so plan ahead and bring a crowd. the sister listing numbers are 1078916, 877061, 876759 and 1661120.

We rented the property for a month and enjoyed being walking distance to so many great restaurants and just a short drive into downtown Charleston. The boat ramp was 2 blocks away and it was helpful to be able to pull the trailer back to the house and park when the lot was full on busy days.

Mt Pleasant Treasure
Rented this lovely house for Daughter’s wedding weekend in Charleston. It was beautiful and well appointed 3bdr 2bath. So convenient to downtown and the airport. Will definitely be renting again. Walking distance to Shem Creek.

We had a great time staying at this home while visiting different areas of Charleston. It was convenient to get to downtown Charleton and also the beach town at Sullivan’s Island. The restaurants on Shem’s Creek were also convenient. Some were clearly more of a bar than restaurant. The home was comfortable and clean.

We loved staying at this quaint cottage while visiting Mt. Pleasant/IOP for a family reunion. The house was a perfect space for our family of 6! Comfy beds and pillows and a beautiful master shower! We appreciated having supplies for laundry and dishes.

Wedding Weekend
Our family stayed during our son’s wedding weekend. It was the perfect location since we had family at IOP and activities on Patriots point as well as at the Citadel. We could walk to Shem creek restaurants. Pages was right down the street for brunch. It was clean. We asked to drop off luggage at 2pm and were pleasantly accommodated. The back porch was a fun gathering spot to watch some baseball. We had a fantastic stay!

Great location!
Great Shem Creek location, walk to shops, bars and restaurant's. Easy drive to Charleston and other areas. Overall rental is comfortable, however, host seems to lack attention to detail. The master bath is missing baseboard trim which gives the impression that that the host is not interested in keeping up with basic maintenance and overall appearance, since it was like that the first time we stayed two years ago. Also, the water pressure is incredibly low when taking a shower.

Nice home and great location
We have stayed in Mt Pleasant 4 times. This was our favorite place. Home was clean and furniture comfortable. Even though kitchen was well equipped the owner(Joe) told us to let him know if there was anything else we needed. Joe was very responsive to any questions we had. We already booked it for our next trip. Forgot to mention-the location is fantastic.

Not worth the price
The rental has a number of things that could have been better for the guests: - musty odour in unit upon arrival - floors could be better cleaned - leave a new/fresh vs used cleaning sponge at kitchen sink for new guests - a dish drying mat would be useful - BBQ should be cleaned prior to guest arrival - lighting fixtures (LR lamp, main bathroom) had burnt out bulbs (not checked prior to our arrival) - more cupboard space would be useful for guests, perhaps where there was a mirror above dishwasher, or a floating island - not enough plates and cutlery to last more than a day or two without washing them - a glass measuring cup would be useful for cooking/baking - should be more than 3 hangers in every closet - should be a mirror in guest/main bathroom, and possibly a full-length mirror somewhere - main bathroom should have a fan, hooks to hang towels, bar of soap for shower/bath - couple boxes of kleenex tissues would be handy - squeaky door hinges - main bathroom hairdryer attachments don’t fit the hairdryer The positive takeaways from this rental were: The rental is walking distance to restaurants, a Java shop, beer and liquor stores, Pitt St historic few shops in Mt. Pleasant, and a short drive into historic Charleston. The kitchen had sharp cutting knives. -

Great stay
The house was very comfortable, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The location is perfect with easy access to shopping, restaurants and the historic districts. You can also take a nice walk down to Shem Creek. I highly recommend this home.
