Rudy and Non-Customer Orientated Staff- Bad Mgmt

Bad front desk service, No breakfast left at 9:45. Shut a door in my face, refused to prepare more, front desk no help. Just watched it. Asked for 12 check-out was told good. People beat on door 10:45, told them 12 was requested. Wife went to get cart keys would not work at 11:30, made was standing at door waiting on us with stares when we left at 11:50. The GM Heather it is impossible to contact her. Nice facility, just a rough and rude and noncustomer orientated staff. Will never stay again. Feel free to call for more details Troy Benitone. Room 209 on 8-23. 217-725-7565. I watched multiple people walk away disgusted from the breakfast service. Have time stamped photos if you care.

On behalf of our staff we would like to apologize for failing to meet your expectations. This is not how our staff treat our customers and this will be addressed. Unfortunately, the keys do not work after 11 am for departing guest they do have to be recoded for guest who check out at a later time. I hope that you will give us another chance in the future to provide you with better service. I am adding points to your choice privilege for the inconveniences you had during your stay.

Amazing Staff, Nice Room

Of the three staff/employees I interacted with, all were very friendly and helpful. The gal who checked us in was particularly great...she was attentive and went a bit extra to put us in a good room. The friendliness and good service was what stood out. Overall the hotel felt mostly clean (sheets and bathroom were good), though the new/renovations seemed a bit surfacy...the floor in our room felt flimsily installed, and there was a piece of dog kibble under the couch. But none of it was bad, just giving honest feedback. Overall the stay was great!
