This property was excellent to many locations. The host was very helpful and willing to accommodate all our needs. Stay here if you want to feel at home but away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HotelsThis was a weekend trip to celebrate our 55th anniversary. We wanted a quiet place to relax and this was perfect. Our cabin was decorated so cute, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner kept the cabin nice & cool. We enjoyed the pool and watching the many deer on the property.
This is located about 15 minutes from Kerrville and we did go there one evening for a nice dinner at 5 D Steakhouse.

The quiet solitude was perfect. Sitting on the porch, next to the fire pit sharing a bottle of wine with wide open vistas in front of us. Perfect weekend getaway.

We stayed in the Gunslinger. Property was beautiful, quiet, relaxing, well maintained, clean, and provided all the essential basic kitchen utensils and tools. We grilled out and had a nice camp fire. we were the only guests in a cabin the night we stayed, but the cabins are quite close together, so I’m not sure we’d choose this location during a busy weekend, but would be ideal for big group events.

We are so Pleased that you were happy with your stay! The cabins were built and deigned by the owner James . Quite comfy. And on the weekends it's pretty nice even though the Gunslinger/ Hitching post joins a wall between. All the others are separated with heavily wooded spaces. Nice and peaceful! The staff, starting with owner, Biden to the managers, were great. The entire property is very well maintained, no issues! Definitely would stay here again, and highly recommended

Very cute and clean. Only issue we’re the beds. Quite squeaky and loud with movement, not very comfortable. But everything else was just perfect.

We understand that you are disappointed, but we did send 3 separate email confirmations, and text messages for both of the reservations you made for our property. We also called to confirm both reservations. We were unresponsive to all. You did not show up for your first reservation at all, and you arrived at our gate for your second reservation a day later than your scheduled arrival date. Your phone call was dropped and when we tried to immediately call back you did not pick up. We drove to the gate to meet you but you had already left. It is unfortunate that you did not give us an opportunity to meet you and correct any communication errors.
