Nice new house with pretty view

Great location, just wished the air conditioning worked

Nice place, very conveniently located proximal to Waterton. Tons of space for the four of us. Lots of natural light and a very airy feel to the place.
Well stocked kitchen. We didn't end up doing much cooking, but it looked like it had everything we'd need.
Bed were comfortable. Internet connection worked well. Being able to park 20 ft from the kitchen make loading and unloading very convenient.
There was another party on the lower level, but we could hardly tell they were there.
Thank you so much for having a floor plan in the listing! It is always so hard to put together the interior layout from just a few pictures.
The bad:
This isn't a knock on the place, just a note on the area, we did wish we'd brought a bit more food with us as the grocery options in Waterton and Mountain View are very limited and after a day of hiking, we didn't feel like venturing further, but we got by. I'm sure there are better stores a bit further from the house.
When we were there, the highs were in the upper 80s to low 90s. The big windows let in a lot of heat in the afternoon/evening even with the blinds closed you could feel the heat radiate into the living room. The air conditioning either couldn't keep up or just plain wasn't working, because when we got there it was 85 degrees in the house. We ended up having to open up the windows every night after the sun went down to cool the place down so we could sleep. It did cool down nicely each night, but i

Family and friends get away

Nice quiet spot to relax outside of Waterton
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay right on the lake. It was nice and quiet and away from the town. We had everything we needed and it was convenient to be able to do laundry daily after getting dusty from hiking. The road to get here is a gravel road and the direct route via google maps will not get to the house. However, it was not a far drive away. It was about a 23 minute drive into Waterton town. When we are back in the area, we will return!

Serenity by the Lake

Scenery was spectacular with full views of the lake, plain and mountains in the distance. Most gorgeous sunsets! Will return again, if in the area. The only element that was lacking was access to the lake. We would loved to been able to enjoy a swim.

Valerie - I have to know more about your comment about access to the lake. Please message me privately. One of the great features of the place is it is a lakefront lot and all guests can walk right down the mowed path and drip right into the lake from the property shore. Great for swimming or fishing.

Beautiful view!
Publié le 17 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis vrbo is absolutely beautiful! Stunning view of the mountains and lake. Perfect for a group of people to stay, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very short drive from Waterton and the border, and lots to do and see in the area. Will definitely book again!
