Publié le 1 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay very much. It is a fun and unique cabin. The only issue was checking in after dark was hard. We hit a rock in the driveway and had a hard time finding the cabin.

It is very dark on our island in general as we are part of the “dark skies project” since we have Mauna Kea Observatories here. We want low light pollution so since there are not a lot of street lights, I give very detailed directions to get here :) We also have rope lights leading to the cabin. Blue lights for the blue cabin and green lights for the green cabin. This is the best we can do, those wanting more light or a more “normal” hotel experience should definitely stay in Hilo or Kona. We provide a secluded, rainforest stay :)

Absolutely magical!
Publié le 21 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayI cannot say enough about this place! Dawn thought of everything to make this stay wonferful. Gorgeous location in the jungle and a beautiful cabin! Perfect if you want to explore the area and feel close to nature, but dont quite want to do the whole camping thing. My only complaint is that we didnt stay longer! :)

Hidden Rain Forest Paradise!
Publié le 11 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayGet away from everything and everyone. Dawn’s space is a perfect abode for relaxation and aloha! The nights are filled with the sounds of nature. Dawn is an amazing host and so knowledgeable for all of our questions. Bonus is her sweet doggos that are in for all the pets and kisses. Great amenities, hope to stay again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful!

Cool property, comfortable stay
Publié le 13 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayVery cool property. Easy to get to, if a 15min drive from the highway. The host provided excellent suggestions for how to make best use of our stay in the area. There could be more lighting in the unit, but everything else was great. Rustic, but comfy.
